The emblem of Vaishya Nagari Sahakari Bank Ltd. has the motifs of a computer, gear wheel, a house and car supported by a pair of laurels and ensconced by an arch. The name of the bank is written around the arch and its motto inMarathi ‘मनासोबत धन संभाळणारी वैश्य बँक’ meaning ‘Vysya Bank that Manages Money With Care’ is placed at the bottom. The motifs refer to the bank’s financing for education,industry, house construction and buying transport vehicles and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

COTTON UNIVERSITY Cotton University (CU) was formerly known as Cotton College, the institute was established in 1901 by Sir Henry Stedman Cotton, the Chief Commissioner of the erstwhile British province of Assam. PALLAVA DYNASTY - BULL The Pallava Dynasty existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Thondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories. The Pallavas became a major South Indian power during the reign of Mahendravarman I(600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE), dominating for about 600 years, until the end of the 9th century. Kancheepuram served as the capital of the Pallava kingdom.  They developed the Pallava script, from which, Grantha ultimately took form. This script eventually gave rise to several other Southeast Asian scripts such Khmer. The Chinese traveller Xuanzang visited Kanchipuram during Pallava rule and extolled their benign rule.
