The pictorial emblem of Pollachi Master Printers Association (PMPA) has a black mountain with a rising sun in cyan, magenta, yellow and black colours supported by a pair of coconut trees on sides, circumscribed by its name around the sun and superimposed with its initials ‘PPA’. The sun, mountain and coconut trees refer to the geography of Pollachi and the colours refer to the colours used for print production.

The logo of university has the ‘samai’ that is the lamp in the centre symbolising that Sanskrit is like the lamp that is mild yet powerfully showing the path of knowledge though its peculiar qualities like calmness, sacredness and guiding force. Books are the representation of the treasure of Sanskrit language. These sciences are symbolised as petals of a flower. The tagline ‘राष्ट्रहिताय संकृत्म्म्’ is the basis of the logo. It puts forward the intention of being a nation lover at the same time being a world citizen by constantly contributing to nation building. Two lotus buds surround the slogan represent the students and learners who are keen on learning the language. The circle represents the tradition of guru and shishya, teacher and student and researcher and guide.

PALAMURU UNIVERSITY The emblem of Palamuru University has a banyan tree placed inside a circle. The tree is supported by an open book on a book reading stand, with a traditional lamp and a nib of a pen. The circle is topped by the motif of the Nagarjuna Sagar dam and crested by Dharma Chakra. All these are circumscribed by a blue toned banner which bears the name of the university in English, Devanagari and Urdu. A black circular line holds all these elements.
