The blue colour circular emblem of The Maharashtra State Co-op. Bank Ltd. (MSC Bank) has a motif of farmer ploughing the field using a pair of bullocks with rising sun in the background and surmounted by its tagline ‘ meaning ‘. All these are ensconced by a gearwheel and supported by a pair of hands shaking. At the bottom a pair of laurels are kept. The farmer refers to agriculture and its financing; the ear wheel refers to industry and its financing; the sun refers to life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the hands shaking refers to cooperation, support and togetherness and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology. CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION The circular seal of the Central Water Commission has a five petalled flower with a water dam, a powerline on sea water, a borewell pump, plants of cereal and a high tension transmission line each placed inside a petal. The flower is placed in an orange circle and this assembly is ensconced by a yellow circular border, on which its name in Devanagari and English and its motto in Sanskrit ‘आपो ज्योति रसोऽमृतम’ meaning ‘May That Awakens Our Intelligence’ are inscribed.
