These are supported by a ‘U’ shaped banner inscribed with its name in Devanagari. Below these, on a blue banner its motto in Marathi ‘ सहकारातून समृद्धीकडे’ meaning ‘From Cooperation to Prosperity’ is inscribed. The ‘₹’ refers to money and finance; the panicles and boll of cotton refer to agriculture and the gear wheel refers to industry for which the bank finances and supports.

KARNATAKA POLICE Police in Karnataka were called by various names in different regions. After initiation of policing, they were initially called Thoti, Talwar, Umbalidhar, Kattubidi, Neeraganti etc. The police primarily with policing used to do other jobs entrusted to them.
