The emblem of College of Horticulture & FSR, Nalbari (CHFSR Nalbari) features five green petals, each containing specific illustrations representing different agricultural and horticultural sectors. The motifs include fruits and vegetables include bananas, pineapple, cabbage and turmeric; insects and pollinators like a butterfly or moth; floral and nursery crops; post-harvest and processing with images of a carton and a glass with a straw representing dairy or juice; and farming systems research (FSR) with a field layout or research plot. The surrounding laurel wreath flanking the central seal symbolises honour, achievement and academic excellence. The outer ring displays the name of the college and its affiliating university and the place of the college. Below the seal, on a green banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘गुणगतः जीवनार्थम् उद्यानशस्यम्’ translates ‘Quality Horticulture for Life’ is inscribed. The two blue gear wheels on either side of the central motif represent technology, mechanisation and the scientific application of agricultural practices.
