The Lady Justice is a traditional symbol of the legal profession symbolising  impartiality, indicating that justice should be administered without bias regarding wealth, power or status; the scales are the scales of justice representing fairness, balance and impartiality in the legal process; the sword symbolises the authority and power of the law to enforce judgments and punish wrongdoing; and the sun rays symbolise the light of knowledge and the dispelling of ignorance.

MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998.
