GEM AND JEWELLERY
EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL
Set-up in 1966, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has over the years effectively moulded the scattered efforts of individual exporters to make the gem and jewellery sector a powerful engine driving India's export-led growth. This apex body of the gem and jewellery industry has played a significant role in the evolution of the Indian gem and jewellery industry to its present stature. It has its headquarter in Mumbai with regional offices across the country. Its circular emblem has its acronym in black followed by a circular motif as if cut diamond embedded in a golden ornament. Cut crystals shaped as flower petals and its acronym ‘GJEPC’ and India’ adjacent to it. The acronym uses a sans serif font with varying stroke thickness.
