INDIAN ARMED FORCES
The Indian Armed Forces are the military forces of the Republic of India. They consist of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Indian Coast Guard, supported by paramilitary forces and various inter-service institutions such as the Strategic Forces Command. The President of India is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces. The Indian Armed Forces are under the management of the Ministry of Defence (MoD), which is led by the Union Cabinet Minister of Defence. India honours its armed forces and military personnel annually on Armed Forces Flag Day on December 7. The crest of the Indian Armed forces consists of the symbols of the Army, Navy and Air Force placed one above the other in the middle of a rectangular red, blue and sky blue bands representing each of these forces.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

BLACK DIAMOND COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (BDCET) The orange colour emblem of Black Diamond College of Engineering and Technology (BDCET) features the motifs of an open book, a mortarboard hat, a satellite dish antenna, a computer, an electrical and an electrical transmission tower ensconced by a partial gearwheel and a partial circle. The name of the college circumscribes the gearwheel. On a grey banner, placed at the bottom the initials of the college ‘BDCET’ is inscribed. The name of the place of the college is written at the bottom. INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL SERVICES CENTRES AUTHORITY The circular emblem of International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) has its initials ‘IFSCA’ in blue sans serif with the horizontal stroke of ‘F’ in National Tricolours placed on a grey coloured globe ensconced by a white circular border with a pair of grey outlines  inscribed with its name. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.
