MOHAN BABU UNIVERSITY

From a young village boy to a teacher, actor, producer, writer, Member of Parliament, philanthropist and an educationist Shri. Mohan Babu has been three decades of being at the service of people. He was a son of a school headmaster he has continued his father's legacy, first as a teacher and then as the Chairman of Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust (SVET). Ever since its inception in 1992, the seed of SVET has flourished into a large Kalpavriksha – helping thousands of young learners fulfil their aspirations. This in turn has led to SVET institutions culminating into a larger vision as university. Mohan Babu University (MBU) in Tirupati focuses on delivering a unique blend of academic brilliance, discipline and dynamism. The red and yellow insignia of the university has a shield on which, there is a majestic animal with the head of a bald eagle on the body of a lion. The shield is a symbol of protection and valour and the bald eagle is a symbol of freedom, power and strength. It represents strength and courage, as well as the ability to overcome obstacles. It also symbolises protection for those who are weak or vulnerable. Lion symbolism is about prudence and is the ultimate protector of hearth and home with the relaxed mind, body and spirit. Its acronym MBU is written beside in a bold slab serif type. Its full name is written below in red colour.
