All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bilaspur (AIIMS Bilaspur) Himachal Pradesh is an Institute of National Importance was approved, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) on December 4, 2019. The emblem of AIIMS Bilaspur is circular with a brown border, which carries the name of the Institute in Devanagari and English. Inside this it has a rising sun on the Himalayan Mountain ranges and below this is the famous Bakra dam on the river Sutlej with Gobing Sagar reservoir. In the front of the dam is an open book forming the base for the staff of Caduceus with entwined by two serpents, surmounted by wings representing the medical profession. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे सन्तु निरमया’ meaning ‘May All be Healthy’ is inscribed on a banner at the bottom.
