INDIAN ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS MANUFACTURERS’ ASSOCIATION |
Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) was established in 1948 when eight Indian companies decided to create a platform for promotion of Indian Electrical Manufacturers’ Association (IEMA). The establishment of the association synchronised with attaining independence by India reflecting the faith of Indian industrialists in the growth of various individual sectors of the economy in the atmosphere of freedom. The Association represents a wide range of electrical, professional electronics and allied products encompassing raw materials, parts, components, products, systems and services. It is recognized as the representative organisation of the Indian electrical and professional electronics industry. Its logo is a word mark created using its acronym ‘IEEMA’ written using a bold sans serif font with even stroke thickness and rounded ends, colour in three tones of orange, symbolising brightness and light through electricity. The letters ‘i’, ‘e’ and ‘a’ are treated uniquely. Its tagline ‘Your Link to Electricity’, where ‘your link to’ is written in tones of blue and ‘electricity’ in orange meaning electricity bring light.
