DABANG DELHI KABADDI CLUB

Dabang Delhi KC encapsulates the spirit of the North as it holds the exclusive rights to the Delhi/ NCR territory and is the only team that represents North India in the Star Sports ProKabaddi League. It has a state of the art ‘home arena’ – Thyagraj Stadium, which is the only green stadium in the country. Dabang Delhi KC is a venture of DOIT Sports Management India Pvt. Ltd. which was founded by Ms. Radha Kapoor, a creative entrepreneur and the only female team owner in the league. DoIT Sports Management (India) Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated as a part of DOIT Creations Group with the vision of promoting sports, athletes, sports facilities and events across India. Dabang Delhi KC are also known as ‘The Eagles’ as the eagle resonates Dabang. The eagle symbolises perspicacity, courage, strength and immortality, but is also considered ‘king of the skies’ and messenger of the highest Gods. With these attributes and qualities the eagle became a symbol of power and strength. The Dabang Delhi KC logo has three attributes to it. The wings symbolise the wings of an eagle; the shield is a symbol of a warrior; the gold is the desire of always being the number one team.

EMBLEM OF MAHARASHTRA The emblem of the State of Maharashtra is a circular seal depicting a Samai Diva Lamp surrounded by 16 lotus blooms. Between the Samai lamp and lotus blossoms is a motto in Sanskrit 'प्रतिपच्चंद्रलेखेव वर्धिष्णुर्विश्व वंदिता महाराष्ट्रस्य राज्यस्य मुद्रा भद्राय राजते' ( Pratipaccandralēkhēva vardhiṣṇurviśva vanditā mahārāṣṭrasya rājyasya mudrā bhadrāya rājatē ), which translates as ‘The Glory of this Seal of the State Government of Maharashtra will Grow like the First day Moon. It will be worshipped by the world and will shine only for the well being of its people’. The motto is based on one found on the (rajmudra) ‘royal seal’ used by 17th century Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji, the only difference being that the name of the monarch is replaced by the name of the State.
