RASHTRIYA VAYOSHRI YOJANA

The circular emblem of Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) has a pink circle housing the motif of a lotus made with eight human motifs supported by a pair of hands in yellow. The pink circle has an ornamental outline with its name written around in Devanagari and English. The colour pink and yellow denote life, health, nourishment and prosperity. The lotus represents purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.

The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
