COMMISSION FOR SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL TERMINOLOGY

The hexagonal emblem of Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT) has a green square ‘वि’ written in ten Indian languages in white and ‘SK’ in black to represent science, knowledge and words. It is crested by its acronym in Devanagari and supported by its English acronym. All these are ensconced by an hexagon with green outlines. The colour green denotes freshness, growth, perpetuity and nature. The hexagon is one of the strongest shapes and structures which nature has conceived. This shape stirs intuition, cooperation, connection sympathy, communion and reciprocal actions.
