The circular emblem of Bhartiya Shiksha Board, Haridwar (BSB) has motifs of a rising sun supporting a tree of two humans and is placed on an open book. These are ensconced by a light blue colour circular border, which is inscribed with its name in Devanagari and English. Below the seal, on a banner, its motto in Sanskrit ‘आ नो भद्राः क्रतवो यन्तु विश्वतः’ (1.89.1, Rig-Veda Samhita) meaning ‘May Auspicious Works, Unmolested, Unimpeded and Subversive (of foes), Come to Us from Every Quarter’ is inscribed.
