AMDAVAD MUNICIPAL CORPORATION

The circular seal of Amdavad Municipal Corporation has motifs of the city’s heritage buildings, namely Teen Darwaza, a lamp post of Jama Masjid and Swaminarayan Temple; a factory and a wheel. Its motto in Gujarati ‘ઉધોગ સ્વાશ્રય સેવા’ meaning ‘Industry Security Service’ is placed above the wheel. These are ensconced by a circular border on which its name is inscribed in English and Devanagari. At the bottom, on a banner its initials in Gujarati ‘અ. મ્યુ. કો’ is placed.

COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING CHENGANNUR (CEC) The emblem of College of Engineering Chengannur (CEC) features a pair of elephants holding a torch with flame, supporting a computer and a microprocessor referring to engineering education; with a pair of open books placed on top left and right referring to education and knowledge. The Staff is supported by green mountains with orange rising sun and its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् जीवनम् च प्रति’ meaning ‘Towards Knowledge and Life’. These are ensconced by a blue circle around which its name is written. This is supported by a pair of laurels. Below these motifs its acronym is written. The laurels refer to success, hard work and perseverance; the green mountains and the rising sun refer to the Northeastern region and the Staff refers to medicine and the medical profession.
