The purple colour hexagonal logo of Mayur Dye Chem has the letter ‘M’ with the hexagon representing benzene, chemical and chemical industry and the colour purple denotes royalty, nobility, luxury, power and ambition.

BABA GHULAM SHAH BADSHAH UNIVERSITY Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) has come into existence by an Act of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly called the Jammu & Kashmir Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Act No. XVI of 2002 and the same is recognised by the AICTE and UGC, New Delhi, under sections 2F and 12 B. The university is patronised by the Jammu & Kashmir Wakf Council. The motto of the university is ‘إقرا باسم ربك الذي خلق’ which means, ‘Read in the Name of God who has Created all that Exists’. The emblem of the university has a dome of a mosque in a blue arch holding the motifs of moon with rings around, Himalayan mountains, a test tube holding the DNA structure, a half gear, abortion of a tree and a water body. The arch is bordered by its name and supported by a green banner bearing its motto. The moon with rings around is a sign of divine grace and goodwill.
