The circular seal of Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Sanskrit Shiksha Board, Ujjain (MSRVVP) has red colour Sri Yantra with eight pointed star placed inside a square with three outlines and is ensconced with an yellow circular border. The border is inscribed with its name in Devanagari and its motto in Sanskrit ‘यत्र विश्वं भवत्येकनीडम्’ (22.9, Yajur Veda) meaning ‘Where the Whole World Meets in a Single Nest’. Sri Yantra represents the goddess in her form of ‘Shri Lalitha’ or ‘Tripura Sundari’. Four of the triangles point upwards, representing ‘Shiva’ or the masculine. Five of these triangles point downwards, representing ‘Shakti’ or the feminine. Thus, the Sri Yantra also represents the union of masculine and feminine Divine.

8 MOUNTAIN DIVISION The 8 Mountain Division was raised in 1963 to combat insurgency in Nagaland. The Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School was established at Vairangte, Mizoram to impart pre-induction training to all the incoming units. Towards the end of the 1960s, this Division had well over thirty battalions under command, including those of the Assam Rifles and the other Central Police Organisations. The formation badge and sleeve patch of this Division has numeral 8 in gold with red dagger through the centre on black background.

SANT GAHIRA GURU VISHWAVIDYALAYA The circular emblem of Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGCG), formerly known a s Sarguja University has a circular border in orange and green and has its name, place and motto inscribed in Devanagari and supported by a pair of tribal ornaments. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’. Inside the border, motifs of a drum, supported by a pair of horns; an open book topped by a red sun ; a banyan tree and a pair of crests of millets are placed. SIDO KANHU MURMU UNIVERSITY The erstwhile Sido Kanhu University (SKU), now rechristened Sido Kanhu Murmu University (SKMU) was founded on January 10, 1992 by an act of Bihar Legislative Assembly. With the formation of the State of Jharkhand in 2000 the university comes under the new State Government of Jharkhand. The circular emblem of the university has a stem of tendu with three leaves surrounded by a swan, palash flower, mahua flower bud and its motto in Sanskrit ‘नीरक्षीरविवेकिनी  विद्या’ meaning ‘Education to Discriminate Water and Milk’.
