CENTRAL TIBETAN SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION

The yellow and orange emblem of Central Tibetan School Administration (CTSA) has a traditional lamp cresting Buddhist emblems of Dhvaja and Padma with a background of a glowing sun supported by an open book and a banner. The banner is inscribed with the name of the School. The traditional lamp refers to light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity the colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
