The motifs are supported by a banner inscribed with ‘Electronics’ and another banner inscribed with its motto ‘Manpower Development’. This assemblage is ensconced by a gearwheel and superscribed with an atomic structure. These are ensconced by its name and a pair of laurels. The laurels refer to success, hard work and perseverance; the green mountains and the rising sun refer to the Northeastern region and the Staff refers to medicine and the medical profession.
