The circular emblem of Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) has a traditional lamp with three flames placed on a yellow circle with black outline. The lamp is surmounted by its acronym in Devanagari and English and suppored by its motto in Sanskrit ‘सहवीर्यम करवावहै’(2.2.2, Krishna Yajurveda Taittriya Upanishad) meaning ‘Together We Perform with Vigour’ and  ‘Let Us Cooperate’. The lamp refers to light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
