The lamp is surmounted by its acronym in Devanagari and English and suppored by its motto in Sanskrit ‘सहवीर्यम करवावहै’(2.2.2, Krishna Yajurveda Taittriya Upanishad) meaning ‘Together We Perform with Vigour’ and  ‘Let Us Cooperate’. The lamp refers to light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

SWASTIKA The Swastika is an extremely powerful symbol which is in use for over 3000 years. The image of swastika was used by many cultures around the world, including China, Japan, India and southern European countries.
