The motto of the college ‘Light Truth Wisdom’ is inscribed on a purple banner placed on the circle at the bottom. The year of establishment of the college is written on a blue ribbon placed below the banner. The mountains refer to the prominent mountain peaks represent the rugged, high-altitude terrain of the Kishtwar district and the Himalayas; the sun symbolises a new dawn, enlightenment and the eradication of ignorance through education; the river represents the Chenab River (or its tributaries) flowing through the Kishtwar valley, symbolising the continuous flow of knowledge and life; the evergreen coniferous pine trees represent resilience, growth and the rich natural flora of the region; the book is a universal academic symbol. It reflects learning, accessibility to higher studies and the pursuit of wisdom.
