Its motto in Telugu ‘’ meaning is written below ‘Y’. The gearwheel is circumscribed by the name and place of the college with a circular outline. Lord Balaji is the presiding deity of Tirupati and His blessings and guidance are sought for knowledge and education; and the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

At the bottom, a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘‘கற்றனைத் தூறும் அறிவு’ (Thiruvalluvar, 396, Thirukkural) meaning ‘Knowledge Grows As Much As One Learns’ is inscribed is placed on the seal. Athiyaman and Avvaiyar refer to history and heritage; the book, sun and the humans refer to education and educational achievement; the tree refers to nature, sustenance and growth; the computer refers to technology; and the dam refers to the local landmark.
