The pentagon shaped emblem of A. A. N. M. & V. V. R. S. R. Polytechnic features traditional ‘kuthu vilaku’or lamp surrounded by the motifs of a factory and a pair of gear wheels, a pair of electrical transmission towers, a computer, a satellite dish antenna and structural bridge over water ensconced by a pentagonal border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college and the year of its establishment are inscribed. The pentagon symbolises humanity's relationship with nature and the elements (earth, air, fire, water, and spirit); the lamp denotes light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
