The letter ‘ॐ’ is the sacred syllable, which represents the representing the essence of the ultimate reality, consciousness or Atman; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; and the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
