The emblem of GMR Institute of Technology (GMRIT) in the form of a monogram on a blue rectangular panel features ‘M’ written with bold sans serif letters with sharp trimmings and precise ends in red and orange colours. An ‘okay’ mark is placed above the letter ‘M’. The ‘M’ is made up of two vertical pointers, simulating infrastructure and construction placed above ‘G’ and ‘R’. The logo is an adaptation of the parent organistion, the ‘GMR Group’. The initials of the college is written below the monogram along with its tagline ‘Training Tomorrow’s Engineers Today’. The 'Okay' mark refers to the perfect syncronisation of all the components of the college. The colours used are prominent and they show strength and dynamism of the group in its chosen field of business.
