The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the colour blue signifies  serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty; and grey represents strength, longevity, unemotional, detached, balanced and impartial, power, influence, wisdom and intelligence.
