The emblem of VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET) features the Kakatiya Kala Thoranam housing the Ramanuji Vaishnava tilak and supported by a panel inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Tamasoma Jyotigamaya’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’. At the bottom, the year of establishment of the college is written. Kakatiya Kala Thoranam is an ancient, intricately carved stone arch in the Warangal Fort in Telangana symbolises Telugu heredity and culture and the tilak symbolises divine blessings and guidance in the operations of the college.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
