The blue colour emblem of Bapatla Engineering College (BCE) features a water dam, an electrical transmission tower, a satellite dish antenna and a computer held by a gearwheel referring to the subject disciplines of engineering. The gearwheel is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. This assemblage is surmounted by a poorna kumbha; supported on sides by a pair of laurels; and at the bottom by a banner inscribed with the motto ‘Work id Worship’ of the college. The poorna kumbha symbolises the fullness or completeness of life; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’. The Staff of Caduceus symbolises medicine and medical profession; the book symbolises the accumulation and dissemination of medical knowledge and the academic foundation of the institution; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols, which represent victory, honour and academic excellence.
