The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the birds symbolise freedom, hope and transcendence; the book refers to education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; and the stars denote harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal.
