The emblem of the G Pulla Reddy College of Engineering & Technology (GPREC) features a lotus and a rising sun in a circle ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college supported by an open book inscribed with the motto of the college in Telugu ‘విద్యయామృత మశ్నుతే’ (Verse 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Knowledge Enjoys Immortality’. The sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; and the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
