The oval emblem of Sri Kalahastheeswara Institute of Technology (SKIT) features a circle holding the motif of a gopuram of the Sri Kalahastheeswara temple referring to the local deity and His blessings. The circle is surrounded by the motifs of an electrical transmission tower, a computer, a processing plant, and a satellite dish antenna and ensconced by a gearwheel referring to the subject disciplines of engineering. The name of the college surmounts the gearwheel and supported by a yellow banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Telugu ‘విద్యయామృత మశ్నుతే’ (Verse 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Knowledge Enjoys Immortality’.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
