The emblem of Amara Institute of Engineering & Technology (AIET) features a shield in light blue and dark blue colours inscribed with the motifs of ‘AIET’, a circle with three orbiting rings and cauldron with flame above flowing water surmounted by the name and place of the college and supported by a banner inscribed with motto of the college in Telugu ‘విద్యా వినయేన శోభతే’  meaning ‘Knowledge Shines by Humbleness’. The stylised representation of circle with orbiting rings, often associated with an atom or a planetary system, symbolises the fields of science, engineering, and technology, emphasising innovation, exploration, and the pursuit of knowledge in these domains. The cauldron is a classic symbol of enlightenment and knowledge, represents education, guidance, and the spreading of wisdom; the flame signifies the light of learning and intellectual illumination; and the waves denote the flow of knowledge, the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of engineering and technology, or perhaps a connection to the environment or the surrounding region.

JHARKHAND GOVERNMENT TOOL ROOM, DUMKA (GTRTC DUMKA) The emblem of Jharkhand Government Tool Room, Dumka (GTRTC Dumka) features a blue gearwheel housing the motifs of a spanner with a pallet knife, a pair of gear wheels and a computer. The gearwheel is ensconced by a circular border with brown outlines inscribed with the name and place of the college. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels. The motto of the college in Sanskrit in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita), which translates to ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written on a green banner with red outlines. SANT GAHIRA GURU VISHWAVIDYALAYA The circular emblem of Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGCG), formerly known a s Sarguja University has a circular border in orange and green and has its name, place and motto inscribed in Devanagari and supported by a pair of tribal ornaments. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’. Inside the border, motifs of a drum, supported by a pair of horns; an open book topped by a red sun ; a banyan tree and a pair of crests of millets are placed. UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU The University of Jammu (UoJ) came into existence in 1969 through the Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act 1969 following bifurcation of the erstwhile University of Jammu and Kashmir. The circular emblem of the university has an open book supporting a lotus with a background of mountains and surmounted by atomic structure. These are ensconced by a yellow circular border which carries its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead me to Light’ on one side and its name in Kashmiri on the other side.
