DRUG ABUSE MONITORING SYSTEM

The blue colour circular logo of Drug Abuse Monitoring System (DAMS) has a motif of four humans holding their hands forming a circle and holding the acronym ‘DAMS’. The name of the System circumscribes the motif. The motif refers to the protective treatment of beneficiaries and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

VALLABHACHARYA TILAK The tilak of Vallbhacharyas is said to consist of two white lines down the forehead, forming a half-circle at its base and a white dot between them. Vallabhacharya (1479–1531 CE) was a devotional philosopher, who founded the Pushti sect in India, following the philosophy of ‘Shuddha Advaita’ (Pure Non-dualism).
