The blue colour emblem of CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML) features a gear wheel with four spokes, a lamp of Florence Nightingale in the middle and its name on the wheel’s border in blue colour. The oil lamp and its yellow and orange flame refers to compassion, reliability and goodwill, which all attributes significant to the practice of Scientific research.

UNIVERSITY OF RAJASTHAN The University of Rajputana was established in January 8, 1947. Its emblem is a three layered concentric circle. The inner circle in black colour has a traditional lamp in the middle supported on left by Ashoka Chakra, right by a book, below these by ‘1947’ and topped by its name. The second layer has its name in Devanagari write in red on a golden background on top and by its motto in Sanskrit ‘धर्मोविश्वस्य जगतः प्रतिष्ठा’ meaning ‘The Whole World is Sustainable only by Virtue of Satya, Ahimasa, Tyag, Pragna, Karuna and Maitri’. MANIPUR UNIVERSITY OF CULTURE The Manipur University of Culture (MUC) was established in 2015 by the Government of Manipur through the Manipur University of Culture Bill, 2015. The university started its academic sessions from September 20, 2016. MADHYA PRADESH POLICE Reorganization of States led to the formation of State of Madhya Pradesh on November 01, 1956 comprising of the erstwhile central province of Bhopal, Madhya Bharat and Vindhya Pradesh. The first Inspector General of the new state was Shri B.G.Ghate, who was succeeded by Shri K. F. Rustamji in 1958. The emblem of the Madhya Pradesh Police has a circle inscribed with Devanagari acronym ‘माप्रपु’ in cyan. In the backdrop is a cross in black, which is encircled by a laurel with Ashoka Lion Pillar as crest. At the bottom on a cyan colour banner the motto 'देश भक्ति - जन सेवा' meaning 'Patriotism - Public Service' is inscribed on a banner.

The McPherson Committee formed by the Government of India, recommended the establishment of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. It was formally opened on December 9, 1926, by Lord Irwin.
