These are ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name of the college. Below the seal, on a white banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सत्यमेव जयते’ meaning "Truth Alone Triumphs’ is written. The name of the place of the college is written on a blue banner placed on the red circle at the bottom. The book is a universal symbol for knowledge, learning, and the pursuit of literacy; the flaming torch symbolises the light of wisdom that dispels the darkness of ignorance and this ties directly to the college's focus on teacher training, as educators are seen as individuals who pass this torch of light to future generations.
