The emblem of Government Girls Polytechnic, Meja (GGP Meja) features the motifs of a building, a human with a computer, a textile pattern, a pestle, mortar and other instruments and a profile silhouette of a woman on a circle ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college in Devanagari. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः’ (1.4.14, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘May All be Happy May All be Healthy’ is written below the seal. The woman symbolises the core focus of the institution: women's development and empowerment through technical proficiency; the other motifs symbolises the branches of subject disciplines taught in the polytechnic.

The central motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents crested with a flaming torch, supported by an open book and a pair of laurels replace the Lion Capital; and the name, place and motto of the college replace the name of the State. The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’. The Staff of Caduceus symbolises medicine and medical profession; the book symbolises the accumulation and dissemination of medical knowledge and the academic foundation of the institution; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols, which represent victory, honour and academic excellence.
