The emblem of Gaya College of Engineering (GCE Gaya) features a blue gearwheel housing the image of Gautama Buddha seated with abhaya mudra. The wheel is ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the name of the college in English and the name and place of the college in Devanagari. Gautama Buddha represents peace, wisdom, mindfulness and the rich historical heritage of Gaya (Bodh Gaya), where he achieved enlightenment. The abhaya mudra symbolises overcoming the fear of the unknown, imparting confidence, and offering protection and reassurance to students on their learning journey. The gearwheel symbolises technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

ECGC LIMITED ECGC Limited (Formerly Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd.), wholly owned by Government of India, was set up in 1957 with the objective of promoting exports from the country by providing Credit Risk Insurance and related services for exports. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.

UTTARAKHAND TOURISM DEVELOPMENT BOARD Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB) is the highest body to advise the Government on all matters relating to tourism in the State. The logo of the Board is based on Devanagari letter ‘उ’ drawn using four swooshes, in which the cyan represents the mountains, blue represents the rivers, red represents the temples of the land and green represents the forests. The logo, as a composite, looks bright, vibrant and enthusiastic, thereby inviting tourists to this State. Below this the name of the State is written.
