The emblem of Nagpur Institute of Technology (NIT) features a green shield housing the motif of a lotus supported by the initials ‘NIT’ and three stars. A pair of laurels are placed on the sides of the shield. On a red banner placed below the shield, the name of the college is written. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes.
