The Geographical Indication Mark (GI) has its acronym ‘GI’ is used to create a monogram in Indian national tricolour in the shape of a location mark. Below the monogram its tagline ‘अतुल्यभारतकी अमूल्यनिधि’ meaning 'Invaluable Treasures of Incredible India’ is inscribed in Devanagari and English.

At the bottom, a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘‘கற்றனைத் தூறும் அறிவு’ (Thiruvalluvar, 396, Thirukkural) meaning ‘Knowledge Grows As Much As One Learns’ is inscribed is placed on the seal. Athiyaman and Avvaiyar refer to history and heritage; the book, sun and the humans refer to education and educational achievement; the tree refers to nature, sustenance and growth; the computer refers to technology; and the dam refers to the local landmark.
