ICAR-VIVEKANANDA PARVATIYA KRISHI ANUSANDHAN SANSTHAN

The green colour emblem of ICAR-Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan (VPKAS) has a green circle holding the motifs of mountains and a traditional lamp. This is circumscribed with a border, on which its name and place are written in Devanagari and English. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels on sides and surmounted by its acronym in Devanagari and supported by its acronym in English at the bottom. Below these motifs, on a banner, its motto is inscribed on a banner in Sanskrit ‘ऋतस्य शुरुध: पूर्वी :सन्ति’. The mountains represent the State’s geography; the lamp represents symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and the colour green represents agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
