The emblem of Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) has a white cross placed above a forward moving red arrow symbolising treatment for cancer. These are ensconced by its name in English and Devanagari and a black circular line. Below the circle, its tagline ‘Service Research Education’ is written. The contrasting colours of red and black aptly communicate the process of treatment and cure for the dreaded disease.

The circular emblem of this university has a gear wheel with sixteen teeth holding the motif of a decorative column standing on a lotus pedestal and supported on either side by scroll designs. These are ensconced by a border on which the name of the university is inscribed in Devanagari and Bengali.
