The purple colour emblem of Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (CMET) has a pictorial of parallelogram housing an atomic structure and letter ‘C’ and on the right its acronym in Devanagari and the rest of the English acronym are written in bold sans serif typeface. The logo is bold and evocative. The colour purple denotes royalty, nobility, luxury, power and ambition.
