The blue colour badge-like emblem of National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) has a five pointed star supported by rhombohedrons are placed at the centre of a circle. The borders of the circle are inscribed with its name in Devanagari and English. The emblem is classical and has gravity and status. The five pointed star refers to perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal; the rhombohedrons denote the multidimensional approach of the Quality Council of India and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
