NORTH EASTERN INDIRA GANDHI REGIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL SCIENCES The insignia of North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) has a Staff of Caduceus entwined by a serpent crested by a flame of fire and surmounted by its tagline in Latin ‘Ad Scientia et Vita’ meaning ‘Towards Knowledge and Life’. The Staff is supported by green mountains with orange rising sun and its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् जीवनम् च प्रति’ meaning ‘Towards Knowledge and Life’. These are ensconced by a blue circle around which its name is written. This is supported by a pair of laurels. Below these motifs its acronym is written. The laurels refer to success, hard work and perseverance; the green mountains and the rising sun refer to the Northeastern region and the Staff refers to medicine and the medical profession.

KASHI TAMIL SANGAMAM The Ministry of Education, Government of India will organise 'Kashi Tamil Sangamam'- a month long programme from November 16, 2022 - to rediscover the centuries-old bond of knowledge and ancient civilizational linkage between Varanasi and Tamilnadu. The programme will be organised under the framework of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'. IIT-Madras and Banaras Hindu University are the hosting partners of this mega event. Its logo is a greyish blue pen supported on both sides by temple towers of Banaras and Tamilnadu. It is ensconced by a dark blue circular line and supported by a blue line depicting water.
