The book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the cross represents the institution’s religious affiliation and the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.
