The red circular Central Silk Board (CSB) has the map of India with a tuft of silk yarn placed inside a circle with a red outline. This is ensconced by a white border with red outline which carries its name in Devanagari and English. The emblem is simple, direct and unassuming. The colour red stands for passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.
