The  blue and green emblem of ICAR- Indian Institute of Water Management (IIWM) has a monogram of its acronym in blue with a green plant sprouting from it. A blower and a windmill is also placed on it. The motifs are surmounted by a blue arc. Below the monogram, a water table is provided and the logo is surmounted by its name in Devanagari and supported by its acronym. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans.
