SOUTH ZONE CULTURAL CENTRE
South Zone Cultural Centre (SZCC) is one of the seven Cultural Centers the country and was established in 1986, at Tiruvaiyaru in Thanjavur district. The center was later shifted to Thanjavur town. Its main operational areas include the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu and Union Territories of Pondicherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep. The center is dedicated to the promotion of fine arts, dance, drama, music, theater and crafts related forms. It also promotes and preserves the art forms by improving opportunities for the artists, documenting dying art forms and ensuring the participation of the youth in cultural activities. Its emblem has seven round cornered squares filled with seven different colours for seven different States.

PES INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (PESIT) The logo of PES Institute of Technology (PESIT) features a globe with India in the middle ensconced by a compass rose, also called a wind rose, rose of the winds or compass star in red and orange colour placed in a blue circle. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; and the compass lets the students break the boundaries into the new world. The name of the university is written adjacent to the emblem.

SAHARSA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (SCE) The emblem of Saharsa College of Engineering (SCE) features a gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college. The counter of the wheel houses the motifs of an open book supporting a human figure with outstretched hands surrounded by a dish antenna, a microscope, a helicopter and tower. This features the map of the State of Jharkhand placed inside a gear wheel supported by a traditional lamp and surmounted by its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’ is placed inside a white circle.
