QUALITY CERTIFICATION DIRECTORATE
Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification Directorate (STQC) is an attached office of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology of Government of India, which provides quality assurance services in the area of electronics and information technology through countrywide network of laboratories and centres. The services include testing, calibration, information technology and e-governance, training and certification to public and private organizations. STQC laboratories are having national / International accreditation and recognitions in the area of testing and calibration. Besides testing and calibration STQC has specialized institutions such as Indian Institute of Quality Management (IIQM) for quality related training programmes, Centre for Reliability (CFR) for reliability related services and Centre for Electronics Test Engineering (CETE) for skill based trainings. Its emblem in dark blue has its acronym in reverse, with the bottom stroke of Q has been shown as an upward pointing arrow symbolising growth and achievement. Below this in cyan background is its motto in Sanskrit ‘Gunothkarshe Samridhihi’ meaning ‘Quality for Prosperity’.

DAKSHIN BIHAR GRAMIN BANK Dakshin Bihar Gramin Bank (DBGB) is a Regional Rural Bank (RRB) founded on January 1, 2019. It was formed by amalgamating two RRBs of Bihar viz. Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank (MBGB) and Bihar Gramin Bank (BGB). DBGB is sponsored by Punjab National Bank (PNB). The emblem of the bank has a motif of three leaf-like designs in yellow inscribed with ‘D’, ‘BG’ and ‘B’ - the bank's acronym on the leaves. INDIRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA MANAV SANGRAHALAYA A nucleus of a 'National Museum of Man' began functioning from New Delhi from March 21, 1977 as part of the Anthropological Survey of India. In 1978 it was separated from the Anthropological Survey of India and declared as an Independent Subordinate Office of the Department of Culture, Government of India. In March 1985 the Museum was renamed as Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, which was later through a Cabinet decision named after Indira Gandhi as Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS). For international perspective the term ‘National Museum of Mankind’ was adopted. Its logo has a slender dancing girl stylistically depicted in tribal art form in red on a background of yellow.

PRADHAN MANTRI JAN AUSHADHI PARIYOJANA Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) is a campaign launched in November 2008 by the Department of Pharmaceuticals Government of India in association with Central Pharma Public Sector Undertaking, to provide quality medicines at affordable prices to the masses through dedicated outlets called ‘Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra’ branded as ‘Jan Aushadhi’. These provide generic medicines at lowest prices. The potency of these medicines are same as compared to expensive branded medicines available in the open market. Bureau of Pharma PSUs of India (BPPI) is the implementation agency for PMBJP. The four coloured logo has symbols and Devanagari words. The symbol consists of two joyous persons in blue colour, in the backdrop of a bottle of medicine in fresh green colour and ensconced by a circle. The name of the scheme is written in fresh green, Orange and blue colours.

ETALL To measure the impact of various e-governance initiatives at national and state levels, a public service portal eTaal was developed by NIC. It provides a collective view of eTransactions performed through e-Governance applications implemented including, but not limited to, the national level mission mode projects under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). ETaal facilitates quick analysis of eTransaction data shared by various applications in tabular as well as graphical from enabling the user to drill down to the lowest possible level. eTaal addresses the qualitative aspects of service delivery and follows a concept of 'Quantility', which means quantity with 'quality. The logo for eTaal comprises of typographic elements to express the name of the organization. KARNATAKA POLICE Police in Karnataka were called by various names in different regions. After initiation of policing, they were initially called Thoti, Talwar, Umbalidhar, Kattubidi, Neeraganti etc. The police primarily with policing used to do other jobs entrusted to them. CONTROLLER OF CERTIFYING AUTHORITIES The Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) is an organisation that administers and monitors the functioning of Certification Authorities that issue encrypted (a technique for secure communication) digital certificates. This type of encryption allows relying parties to have an authenticated transfer of data under secure connection and CCA has well defined methods of assuring the identity of parties to whom it issues certificates. JAL JEEVAN MISSION Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) was launched by the Government of India on August15, 2019 in partnership with the States, to enable every household in villages to have Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) in the next 5 years. It is envisaged that with FHTC, each household will have supply of potable water (at least 55 lpcd as prescribed in BIS 10500:2012) on regular and long-term basis. To implement the mission, institutional arrangements at various levels have been made and State’s PHE and RWS Departments are to play a critical role. They have to help Gram Panchayat (GP) and / or its sub-committee to plan, implement, manage, operate and maintain its in-village water supply systems. BHAGWANT UNIVERSITY Bhagwant University Ajmer is established by Bhagwant Education Foundation which has also established Bhagwant Global University Kotdwar. This is the only university in Rajasthan which offers engineering courses in aeronautics, petroleum, nanotechnology and agriculturre. KHANGCHENDZONGA STATE UNIVERSITY The insignia of Khangchendzonga State University (KSU) has a circle holding the motifs of Himalayas with flowing rivers; an open book and a traditional lamp. These are ensconced by a circular border with its name and place inscribed along with its motto in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ (Rishi Parāśara, 1,19.41, Viṣṇu Purāṇa) meaning ‘Knowledge  is One that Liberates’ is inscribed. This is further circumscribed by a traditional running design motif of the State.
